Let's make this the end of Bogusevic in center field.

Adams has to be the slowest runner in the world

With the jumps he was getting, I think he could've been at 2B on Freese's double and there would've been a play at the plate.

Give Starlin a hit on that

I'm of course bias, but come on, that should have been a hit. I don't think Freese even had time to get his glove in the proper position before it hit him in the knee due to how hard it was struck.

sure is fun to watch his rack bounce when he's running, though.

A lot of the experts say that Vogelbach can't make it except as a DH due to his size / defense, but can he be that much worse than Adams?

Plus we're the home team. Give your struggling guy the benefit of the doubt.

Someone tell this umpire that the corner on Garza's glove side is in fact a real thing.

No [expletive]. Give him that corner and Garza has about 4 K (and about 20 fewer pitches). Edited by MWV

I know this is probably stupid, but I'd pull Garza now. He has qualified for his win, he has been strong yet again. I don't think the prospects we get back are going to be any different should he pitch two more quality innings.

If this is our big trade chip, no use in taking any chances that he somehow tweaks something.

They really need to quit scheduling the Cubs and Tigers for Fox games at the same time.

On a related note, God bless whoever put an end to that ridiculous "Moreland doing PBP" idea. Sirott's not great either, but he's a giant leap forward from Keith.
