Going to the KC-WM series. Will post updates tonight, if the baby is cooperative at the game and allows me to pay attention. Anyone in particular to report on? Stadium gun is usually "accurate" compared to scouting reports, so I'll be sure to note velocities. Obviously going to pay more attention to Baker tomorrow. And already excited to see Almora and Vogelbach/Shoulders and their defense.

Sorry, Daytona fans:

@daytonacubs: Unfortunately Vince Carter's autograph session had to be canceled. There will not be a make-up date.

If you could, take note of Armando Rivero's command and velocity. Hopefully he comes out of the pen today or tomorrow. Is also be interested in Tayler Scott's velocity and how deep he can hold it.

Thanks and have fun!

As in former NBA mega star Vince Carter?

Dunk champion anyways. I think you have to win an NBA title to be a mega star.

Given that a totally surprising rain delay in Daytona has likely ended his day, Ivan Pineyro had a pretty damn fine debut down in A+.

Patrick Ewing and Karl Malone say hi. But I remember in the late 90s he was on his way to big things. Not sure what happened because I was beginning to tune out the NBA around that time. As far as potentially amazing careers that were derailed, he was up there with Grant Hill and Penny Hardaway. I just hope that D Rose doesn't join their ranks.
