It's time!

I've created a Google Form to allow submissions. Please let me know if you have any issues getting to the form or inputting your response.

Let's have plenty of talk here about the prospects and why you ranked them as you did.

Thanks!

3-3 so far on Vogelbach as #7.

Even more oddly, Hannemann came in at #16, #17 and #17 on the three ballots.

Vogelbach makes sense at 7 since there is a clear top 4 and then Pierce and Alcantara have had such good years they seem to be an easy step above Vogelbach

A lot of difficult choices, and in a good way.

I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of lost on most of the 2013 picks aside from Bryant. Beyond that, from what I can gather, it goes Skulina, Masek, Z.

And not to nitpick, but 1. Isn't Whitenack gone from the system? 2. while neither make my list, wouldn't Jokisch (not listed) be ahead of Loosen (listed)?

OK, 16-30 was really hard, but I did it.

Also, I wanted to put Zach Rosscup at 30.

Yeah, Rosscup should be an option. Also missing are Geiger & Shoulders.

And yes, Whitenack should be gone.

I added those guys, but I actually have no idea how to edit the response I submitted earlier. When I click the link, it has me enter the form fresh.

Yup. I'm thinking that you have to either sign into a Google before submitting or else it becomes an a anonymous submission and you can't get back to it.

I'm pretty sure you can't edit your submissions even if you're logged in. Google Forms isn't dynamic like that.

There's a checkmark at the bottom of the form tool, "Allow responders to edit responses after submitting".

However, I think that it only works when you're still on the submit page.

Didn't rank Jackson or Maples in the top 30. Jackson's "Just a guy" now. Maples I never really had a good feeling on. Was rolling along til pick 17. Zastryzny was my #16. After that, who knows what the hell I did.

It's interesting to note that we as a community (and me in particular) rate Szczur higher than Ha, but Ha is the one called up to Iowa at a younger age.

my tiered top-30

top group is listed comparables for best-case / likely / worst-case career arcs for a player, making the assumption they continue development through to the bigs; i guess best-case & worst-case can be thought of as 20th/80th-percentile forecasts, should they see MLB time

it's really just an exercise that helps me decide how i feel about a player

1) soler: brian jordan / rondell white / juan encarnacion

2) almora: randy winn / marlon byrd / luis matos

3) baez: adrian beltre / jose hernandez / dale sveum

4) bryant: troy glaus / pat burrell / chad hermansen

5) alcantara: ray durham / felipe lopez / mariano duncan

6) p johnson

7) vizcaino

8) candelario

9) vogelbach

10) hendricks

11) torreyes

12) villanueva

13) watkins

14) lake

15) paniagua

16) szczur

17) w contreras

18) blackburn

19) j-h ha

20) b jackson

21) vitters

22) hannemann

23) amaya

I ranked Ha right behind Szczur. I think they're incredibly similar offensively.

No idea about their defense though, because everyone's reports conflict with one another.

And crap, I just noticed I put Ben Wells twice. #-o Loux was supposed to be #23.

I know that Jordan and Winn were pretty solid pros who had good careers, but I personally see the best-case scenario for Soler and Almora to be better than that... Not sure who I would compare them to, but I just think that is a pessimistic best-case

Just an FYI, Rendon has completed his rookie year eligibility (service time). Not sure if you want to consider him a prospect still.

True...it's a pain to remove the choice, though!

I agree to a certain point. I think Randy Winn is an excellent comparison for Almora's most likely case, but not necessarily for a ceiling. I also think Bryant's comparables are right on.

I like Soler's ceiling as prime Andruw Jones at the plate with average to good defense in right.
