The recent performance of the Chicago Cubs pleases me.

These past few weeks have been the most I've enjoyed the Cubs since that brief and shining moment in August of aught-nine when we pulled into a 1st place tie.

This time it was a full-on wave that circled the ballpark, both bleachers and grandstands a good 4-5 times.

i did not participate in the wave and expressed disgust when it reached all the way to me in 417 after starting in the right field bleachers. it made it around several times. not cool.

I've shouted down people attempting it in the bleachers in the past. They thought I was a bit of a lunatic, but I'm ok with that.
