To be fair you gave the Hawks no chance tonight which is just unreasonable and ignorant.

This was my worst fear from this game. Even play at home then go on the road and look inferior. I guess they didn't look that inferior in all facets but on the PP and on face offs it was just bad. I should have been more concerned that the Hawks were under 50% on face offs at home.

Oh well. Not liking our chances but if we can somehow go into "down 3-1 against wings" desperation mode on Wednesday and win, this trip is a success. If not...well then Boston is probably going to win their 1058372th championship since 2001.

Choking gutless dogs led by the Hockey version of Dusty Baker. Expect our PP to suck next year too.

lol, ok man. you can't choke when your opponent is damn good, and deserves to be there as well. it's a tough series. they may lose, but there's no choking going on. bruins are really good.

Toews and Kane haven't been very good. Toews has 1 goal in 19 games. Kane has 4? Nobody on this team is winning face offs. Where has Bickell been? Q has been especially bad. I'd call it choking. The Hawks should be better then this.

they've been outscored by 2 goals and 2-1 is literally as close as a series could possibly be through 3 games. if they're choking, then every team that's ever lost in the playoffs has choked.

In the first two games I was on the edge of my seat for every shot. This game felt like I was watching on tape delay and already knew the outcome was a shutout.

Perfect description of the game. I just knew they weren't going to score. Really didn't have a legitimate chance. Whereas the last game I threw my hands up 4-5 times in the first period, I never once got excited like, "ok, we're going to score here". Maybe it was the team's lack of energy, but I knew it wasn't going to end well.

he's saying things looked worse. a 3-1 deficit to detroit is worse than a 2-1 deficit to boston.

i'm really starting to get pissed off about the lack of respect towards crawford this postseason. first is was all about howard, then quick, and now rask. crawford is playing out of his mind and he's getting talked about NOWHERE because he's not as big of a name.

Similar feeling, but it was more of an expectation that they'd lose game 3 and then win the next three.

I am speaking from an impartial point-of-view here, but who can blame anyone for this? Howard did outplay Crawford early in their series, but Crawford came back and was a huge part of the Hawks comeback and was credited for it. Quick has the reputation of being one of the best goalies in the league but nobody was saying he was better than Crawford in their series.

Rask came in as the "hot" goalie, having shut down the best offense in the league. He has also outplayed Crawford so far, facing more scoring opportunities and more shots, while allowing fewer goals. Also two of his five goals allowed were absolute flukes. Crawford has been good, but has hardly stood on his head.

Don't worry, if the Hawks come back and win this series he will get plenty of credit. Even if they don't I think you will see Crawford's stature being much higher in the future based on this playoff season.

With Hossa being out on short notice, I didn't have a great feeling.

I'm not hockey expert, not by a long shot....but I think what the Bruins really unique ability is, is blocking pucks. Not only does it help out Rask, but a lot of their blocks kick out past the defensemen and allow for breakaways for Boston. I'd like to see the Hawks shoot on the move more often rather than stop and shoot. Easy for me to say.

I'd like to see them shoot period on the power play. Everyone on the PP looks like they don't want the puck

They just need to pretend like its 5-on-5. Dump it in, cycle the puck along the boards, find the open man, put it on goal and crash the net. Seems simple enough.

And if that doesn't work, the next time Boston commits a penalty, commit one right back and go 4-on-4. I'm only half kidding.

Mike Haviland was hired as head coach of the AHL Hershey Bears. Always liked him.

that ruddy faced dude always looked half in the bag when they interviewed him coming back from intermission.

No reason to panic unless they lose Wednesday. Win that game and we got home ice back.

Yeah, Hawks should def be the more desperate team.
