Someone tell Kane this is the Western Conference Finals and not a Tuesday night game against Columbus. No need to be cute or try to make SC Top 10 with your fancy passes and stick work....just shoot the puck Edited by UMFan83

Can't believe the lucky stops by LA in the past few minutes. Just not working out for us tonight. It happens.

Right...im actually very encouraged by the 3rd period. Came to LA needing to take 1 of 2 to have a nearly insurmountable lead in the series. Even if we lose game 4, we still have home ice.

Can someone explain the no icing call to me?

I'm not completely sure how icing works as they seem to wave it off at random sometimes (to my untrained eye that is) but it was a slow moving puck, thus the Hawks player could have touched it if he wanted to before it went over the blue line thus no icing.

I'm over the loss already for a few reasons. One, I did not expect a sweep, and in fact I thought it was more likely we headed back to Chicago tied 2-2 despite how lifeless and banged up the Kings appeared. They looked lifeless and banged up last series too (as our old friend Burish pointed out the other day) and still went 4-0 at home. Second, I was very encouraged with how the Hawks stayed in the game and really should have tied it at the end. Has to be a bit demoralizing for the Kings to play as desperate as they did and having the Hawks get several excellent attempts to send it to OT in the latter part of the 3rd period.

Anyways, I think we can win Game 4, but I won't be destroyed if we are tied going back to Chicago. I was bracing for a long series before it started, and while I was/am feeling good from how the weekend went, I knew it would be extremely difficult to win in LA.

Would really really like Kane and Toews to wake the heck up and start producing though. Kane especially, because at least you know Toews is giving you quality defensive play when he's not producing offensively.

if we go back to chicago tied 2-2 with the injuries LA has, that would be pretty shitty. and i'm pretty sure the kings aren't demoralized by a win
