I am by no means a die-hard hockey fan. But I can't handle this. This has been a magical season that I don't want to see come to an end by a team that barely made it in the playoffs, barely won a game 7 in the first round, and is the Blackhawks biggest historic rival. Feel like the "only my teams" thing is very appropriate right now. Haven't felt like this since the 2008 MLB playoffs when the Cubs got swept by the Dodgers in the 1st round.

It's not going to happen. I've seen enough soccer and hockey; this is what it looks like when a talented team that hasn't seen any adversity runs into it. They press, get frustrated and totally get away from what made them successful. Everything Detroit is doing is working. Chicago isn't getting any favorable bounces, and they're just sort of snatching at their chances when they get them instead of finishing.

 

Unless someone makes a brilliant individual play, this is going back to Chicago 3-1.
