Tim Huwe is worth paying a bit more attention to than Yellon. I haven't read the Fire Theo article yet, though.

It was so poorly written I couldn't get through the first premise, convincing PK Wrigley to give you a longer meeting with him. You read that correctly.

Neely could write a better article even without paragraphs and punctuation.

I lost respect for Neyer when he mentioned Yellon in his leaving SportsNation speech. Seriously, Yellon [expletive] sucks.

Well, thanks to this thread I stopped by BCB for the first time in forever. Here is a dramatic recreation of how it went:

I totally recognize that building that looks to be a church on the very left but I just can't place it. I'm pretty sure that's facing west, too.

Some Travis Wood stuff from North at PSD

Travis Wood, you are exciting me.

So K/9 rates start to stabilize around 70 batters. He's almost there. But the whiff %s on his cutter and slider have improved. Both those rates are well above average.

His cutter is moving about 2 inches more, and his slider is faster and the break is tighter.

If Travis Wood can continue these trends, the Cubs may have something. Watch for Wood as the year progresses.

That's where I live; the church on the left is St. Michael's and it's literally just a couple blocks south of me. He's in one of the big towers just past Wells going towards the lake. He's taking a picture of my [expletive] building, the creep.

I wanted to say Old Town SO BAD and I couldn't find the church on google earth so I didn't.

I had a weird feeling that it looked super familiar; it's the lit sign in the lower left that sealed it: that's the sign outside of the Twin Anchors.

Damn that IS twin anchors, I guess there aren't any buildings get big in buck town so that didn't really make sense but I couldn't get the south loop design of the apt out of my head. I guess it's not much different than old town high rises
