Because even the refs hate the Preds?

I wish that the camera showed the linesman and where he was looking

I'd only seen the stills. Somehow it's worse on video. At the 37-second mark, you see the linesman at the bottom of the screen. He's in perfect position and makes the call that it was a good play right away. Amazing.

Damn, Lindy Ruff fired. He had a decent run there but can't go that long without sniffing a cup. Did he ever make a finals or even conference finals?

Wasn't he the coach there when they went to the finals against The Stars awhile back?

That's right forgot that was the Sabres that got boned.

Maybe because it was 14 years ago.

It's not often you see 7 players closer to the goal than the actual goalie.

The PEns fans around here are getting frustrated. Their stars are scroing but nobody else and their goaltending is all over the place. Sounds familiar.

Apparently Clutterbuck's injury is to his thigh and not knee, and he is traveling with the team. Which might bring Hall a bit of mercy.

What I don't get is, you see something that blatant, and all the teammates do is give him a soft cross-check to the chest? I didn't see who that was, but assuming he's not Patrick Kane, you drop the gloves and beat the guy to a pulp right there. Especially when it's Taylor [expletive] Hall.

Those are the situations that I'm ok with fighting in hockey.

NHL fans have the highest mean household income compared to MLB, NBA, and NFL fans, with an average household income of $104,000, compared to $96,200 for baseball fans, $96,000 for NBA fans, and $94,500 for NFL fans, according to league data.

They're younger, too. Thirty-three percent of hockey fans are young adults (ages 18-34), compared to 32 percent for the NFL, 30 percent for the NBA, and 29 percent for baseball.

I didn't want to laugh at this, but I did.

Malkin's injury could be their undoing. Or it could make them a better team in the long run. The Pens fans here seem to think that they aren't getting enough secondary scoring. Now someone will have to step up to fill that void. If no one does then they're not a deep enough team.

As the NHL Board of Governors prepares for a March 21 meeting in Toronto another big change will be discussed -- reforming video replay procedures with the possible addition of a "coach's challenge."

Yeah the map makes sense when you see it like that. A point came up on the radio this morning that the biggest problem with travel is time zone changes. This seems to eliminate most of that.

Who gets the shaft? Miami and Tampa. However, they are going to get a ton of home dates with marquee teams.

So clearly the Florida teams need to move

I heard this morning that Tampa has an 11-game sellout streak going. Was surprised by that.

I think they have always had decent support.

The theory about the Florida teams that I saw was that they wanted to get some Canadian teams in that conference so that Canadians that are in Florida for the winter can see their teams play more often?
