Simmons is just the worst. Every year this column is littered with him talking about how poorly he evaluated each player 2 years/months/weeks ago, but now, now he's got it down.

Now that he's running Grantland and hanging out with younger, more talented/relevant writers, his cultural references are more up to date. Don't know if that's good or bad because now we have to read molly jokes.

I mean, I get the skepticism. We haven't seen Rose play post injury yet, the Heat seem to be in the midst of a dynasty and who knows if the Bulls how the Bulls are going to build their team in the near future but he's 24 so he could easily have 10 years or so of being really, really good. Who knows what's going to happen in that time frame. Saying "lol" to the idea makes no sense to me.

Hinrich is going crazy, but no one else on the Bulls is doing much of anything offensively. Feels like they missed their chance to take control in the 2nd quarter. Hopefully I'm wrong.
