Of greatest significance, far more significant than the 90-86 final that marked the Wizards' eighth straight home victory, the Bulls also lost Taj Gibson to the same MCL sprain in his left knee that previously sidelined him for 10 games.

Though team officials wouldn't estimate how long Gibson will be sidelined until an MRI exam is completed Wednesday, the versatile big man moved gingerly in the postgame locker room and said his knee "feels the same as when I hurt it the first time."

"That's what happens when you rush back to try to help your team win," said Gibson

Is that a dig at Rose? Thibs? The FO? Fans?

I'm taking it as backing up Rose against everyone else, but maybe we're reading into it too much.

I thought it was more a shot at Derrick Rose moreso than anyone else. Gibson and others have been battling through injuries all season, and yet they are still trying to play since they want to help the team win. In contrast, Rose still is not playing because he does not feel he is fully recovered.

I finally found a YouTube clip of the guy who won a million bucks making a three-quarters court shot at a Bulls game in the early 90s.

Clip starts at 1:08:

I found an old Trib article about it which is how I got the guy's name to search on YouTube. MJ takes a shot at Krause and Toni Kukoc...lol, what a douche: http://articles.chicagotribune.com/1993-04-15/sports/9304170045_1_bulls-scottie-pippen-fan-hits

And where was Bulls General Manager Jerry Krause while all of this was going on? In Greece scouting the European championships.

"He missed a heck of a shot," said Jordan. "I don't think Toni Kukoc could have made that."

The guy who made that 3/4 court shot was from Bloomington, I think.

No Rose, no Noah, no Rip, no Bellineli, no Taj, no problem.

When you are on the road against a team ahead of you in the standings, you go down 25-11 in the first quarter and you are starting Nazr's decayed corpse and Vladrad and Cook are playing key minutes and you still win, that's awesome.

There is nothing wrong with him at this point. So frustrating. :banghead:

Can't bring him back until we think we can beat the Heat, dude.

The Score played a clip of Rose in February saying he would come back once he could dunk off stride. There is now video of him dunking off stride. But Rose won't play.

Nate getting an MVP chant while Rose takes a year off hurts my head.

Wish we could have seen Rose and Nate on the court at the same time.
