This team has some bad losses but they can still be enjoyed in the same way the mid to late 2000's Bulls teams were. The nice thing is, they are getting a superstar player at some point.

Wade to the ref, "That's a flop." He would know.

God, Levron whining again.

I wish the best player in the world would whine a little less.

Fantastic win. We are now 3-0 against the best 2 teams in the East. Doesn't mean that much but it's still nice.

44-16 against the rest of the NBA, 0-3 against the Bulls hah

Yeah, we should totally be depressed over last night's win and not enjoy it at all.

Haha. Wait you mean that this win doesn't mean we will beat the Heat in a 7 game series regardless of whether Derrick Rose plays? What a buzz kill.

An interesting read that makes you appreciate Thibs. But have Bulls have figured out the magic formula for beating the Heat? I highly doubt it.

Don't think anybody ever said that. And even if people were making that argument, last night would hardly be the example, as they've probably had more success against them than anybody for 3 years.

Mitch Lawrence with some comments on Rose:

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/knicks/lawrence-woodson-resolution-melo-amar-sync-article-1.1233817#ixzz2HAWcflfH

* People who have seen Derrick Rose work out insist he’s almost ready to start playing. The Bulls still aren’t saying when the 2011 MVP will be activated for game duty. And like everything else out in Chicago, the front office and coaching staff can’t agree on when he’ll take the court.

and KC:

Never mind that Rose, in Tom Thibodeau's words, "has to go through regular practice for an extended amount of time before we even think about him playing." In other words, late February or early March remains the best guestimate for his return from left knee surgery.

According to several people who have witnessed his workouts or non-contact participation in practice, Rose remains prodigiously skilled, strong and fast. And he's not at 100 percent medically yet. Of course he will be once he is cleared to play.

"I can't wait to get back on the court to see what I'm going to do," Rose said then. "I don't know how I'm going to play. I don't know what's going to be new about my game. It's just going to be exciting for everybody to see."

Then Rose paused and flashed that quiet, steely, unassuming confidence

"I'm going to be a better player," he said. "My legs have never been this strong. My upper body has never been this strong. My core has never been this strong. I'm going to see where it takes me."

and a tweet from Mirotic...probably doesn't mean anything

I'm watching the @chicagobulls big road win in Miami over Heat! By the way... @drose 's return is near!

Check score prior to start of football game: 32-22 Cleveland.

Check score at halftime of football game: 116-86 Bulls.

That escalated quickly.
