Oh, well. Wouldn't be the 2012 Cubs if Shark actually got a win to end his season.

 

He made great strides though.

Can't say how awesome Samardzija was this season. Glad he went out on a high note. Amazing start. Amazing season.

A definite unexpected bright spot. He may not be an ace on a good staff, but he is a very good young 2 or 3 to build around.

the one thing that stood out to me most about this one was Starling Marte pulling up on the Campana double seemingly for fear of that wall
