luck looked like an INT-throwing, flailing, chucking insect in the sight of cutler today. you can hold out hope that he fulfills your wildest dreams, but jay impregnated luck's mother today and he's going to have a baby-brother that becomes a better qb than he is.

Luck probably looked exactly like Favre did his first game except Luck wasn't drunk. Luck will be just fine.

he looked like a david carr on his wedding night.

It's possible. It's also irrelevant. You've made a bunch of comments in response to me, and they've either been simply wrong or not even wrong. Care to make one on point and not wrong?

and now mr poopy pants rears his ugly head

When you're wrong about the facts and wrong about every conceivable interpretation, revert to first grade? It fits the inputs and outputs we've seen here, but I'm not sure about the process.

i don't see why it's so hard to admit that yes, cutler's mid-game numbers were totally skewed by a horrendous start and are actually even more impressive considering said start. the cutler habit of leading the bears up and down the field for score after score against the colts defense, even at mid-game, was doubtless impressive and in no way takes away from the sparkling debut of a completely inefficient pass-happy rookie, mid-game or no.

But the point is that the best QBs in the league don't have Cutler's physical abilities, yet they are better. Why is that?

Because they don't have to spend 3 years with Johnny Knox as their go to receiver?

With all that said, the only thing I really care about is whether a QB can win a Super Bowl and I'm sure Jay can. Luck will too one day.

if jay wins a super bowl, he is an elite quarterback.

but again, luck looked stiff, his release looked slow, his arm looked weak on deep throws and he threw 3 interceptions despite not forcing throws into tight windows like jay is wont to do. if you throw 3 picks into single coverage, you aren't doing well.

Bears 41 Colts 13

I keep getting annoyed at us giving up 21 points and then I remember the defense only actually gave up 14 of them.

if not for that pick 6, my prediction would've been pretty damn close. :D

The Score getting on Cutler this morning for his comments to the fans to quiet down. God I hate sports media.

Are they really?

I know Bernstein will be behind him. I can't imagine who would actually disagree with him.

EDIT - Oh, it's Mully. LOL

Mully agrees, but says he doesn't like Cutler chastizing the fans. He really sounds like a moron about this.

Brandon Marshall gave me wood

jeffery gave me wood. i'm beginning to think he could go for 1,000 as well.

Starting a season knowing your receiving corps aren't brain dead midgets is a happy improvement

Sounded like plenty of callers called in to give him crap about it, at least.

I'm not sure how you're taking my comment but I'll clarify. I'm saying that Bernstein will be behind Cutler, as he is always talking about how clueless our crowds are when we are on offense.

I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised about Cutler's comments being sports talk fodder. As soon as I heard his press conference, I figured we would hear about that all day. At least it shuts up the Urlacher talk.

I have absolutely no problem with Cutler's comments or how he said it, but I can totally see non-Bears fans who don't see Cutler talk on a weekly basis thinking his comments sounded douchy, especially the way he sounded while making them. But then again, those are the people who irrationally hate Cutler because ESPN told them to.
