And is 2 for 2 with a SB.

Johnson's debut: Single, GIDP, Single, flyout

Sorry if this has been covered already but does anyone know what teams our new prospects slot into and when they will be making their debuts?

edit: I should clarify, I mean Villanueva, Chapman, Hendricks, Brigham....

Villanueva and Hendricks have been assigned to Daytona. Brigham to Tennessee, and Chapman to Iowa to start.

One odd side effect of the Villanueva bump was Cerda going back to AA. One would think he's not that important anymore to have to move back up.

All transactions have been posted in the Transactions sticky. There were quite a few today and yesterday!

2 homers for Greg Rohan in his Iowa debut

Wow....is there actually a chance this guy starts on the ML roster next year?

If he does, something will have gone very wrong. Rohan is 26 and only made AA for the first time a month ago, plus he's a 1B only type defender.

phew.

Doesn't look like whitenack's pitching today. hope he's ok.

Daytona doesn't announce starters until morning of, so I normally just go with whose turn it is from the last time through. Since Castillo was bumped up, it's likely Whitenack was just pushed back a day.

Depending on what he does at AAA, his numbers are decent...it just seems like they're fast tracking him because he is so old. So I'm just thinking if he doesn't make the big leagues next year, maybe the year after, he probably never will.

No.

Candelario just missed an opposite-field HR. Very high off the wall.

Vogelbach with his 2nd hit. Kind of a gift double that probably should have been a single.
