I'm blown away at how many errors there are in these games.

It can be quite startling, but frequently just a combination of inexperience, over aggressiveness, and minor league field conditions. Remember even superb defensive players in the bigs have had seasons where it looks like they must be playing drunk from all the errors they ring up.

any news on Rosario or Alcantara?

This recently popped up on Twitter.

@daytonacubs: Alcantara has some leg soreness. He's expected back as early as this weekend. No definite timetable set though. @Cubsminorswrap @Drewboke

Baez now 2-2 with sac fly with 2 rbi. He just singled up the middle with runners on 1st and 3rd. Nice baserunning also to take 2nd on the throw to 3rd. He has handled the two or three chances in the field flawlessly.

bean ball war in boise, lol. benches warned

Can you imagine having Rock Shoulders and Dan Voglebach on your side in a bench clearing brawl? I'd love to be there to see that.
