I love coming here and reading Fred's stats!

I can see where you would. I had no idea myself that the CUBS have had such a hard time with the Pirates over the years.

There was one year when the Cubs destroyed the Pirates, probably '07 or '08, but besides that... ew.

in 08, we probably had a run differential of +100 against them

Lineup:

Elvis, PRNW, Cutch, GI Jones, McGehee, El Toro, B, B & B

Interesting stat: We're 13-6 with BBB at the bottom of the lineup.

Shark has been fun to watch tonight. Should have a no hitter but he watched McCutchen running down the line instead of covering first.

lol, Shark pacing and swearing to himself in the dugout... guess he's not coming back out... he should...

...not be pitching 110 pitches in a meaningless game in July when he's going to be on an innings limit and is probably getting fairly close to it already.

I think I'd let Shark at least take the mound here.

he was at 99, you can let him come out and see if he can get a quick 1-2-3. obviously if he throws many pitches or a runner gets on you can pull him immediately with Marmol...

whatever, Cubs win!
