Thank God Peralta botched 2 routine throws

Yeah, no.

A grounder right to Peralta and a toss to 2nd, and a grounder to Peralta and a throw to first. Without the benefit of watching the replay again for a closer look for something I might have missed, those are pretty routine throws.

Those were ugly throws, yes, but in both cases the runner was out. Let's just enjoy the break.

Doesnt mean he didnt botch the throws, but yeah I don't care, we got the calls and we win.

Let's not get too hot here fellas. I'm all for enjoying a solid win once in a while, but I'd rather we keep that strangle hold on a top 3 pick.

There were a ton of Tiger fans at that game.

I'm going to Thursdays' game with a group of Tiger fans. Going to be like entering the Twilight Zone or something. I'll be the only Cub fan in the group, at my home stadium.

Didn't see the game, but there were a lot of Twitter reports that they were well represented and took over when the Tigers tied it up.

My guess is that the that the reason that these AL midwestern teams not known for their fans taking over opponents stadiums seem to always be en mass against us is that while to us, Wrigley Field is crumbling and out dated, it is one of baseball's most glorified parks along with Fenway and they just come to take it in and see what it's all about. And they often leave thinking the same way we do after a raccoon runs of with their $12 bison dog. And more power too them. Tigers and Twins fans money is as good as Cubs fan's, and once we get good again, Wrigley won't be as easy to take over.
