Truth be told, their fan base is about as "good" (in terms of things that make a team's fan base good) as any this side of maybe ours. I know that sounds incredibly biased but those have to be easily two of the strongest followings in baseball.

There are others in the conversation, too, but the majority is MEH.

The Cubs fan base is [expletive] awful, and it's easy for the Cardinals to be propped up as dedicated when they never [expletive] lose.

Oh, come on. The people suck, just like any large group of people (and large group of baseball fans), but they draw everywhere they go, especially when they're good. If the Cubs fan base is [expletive] awful by the standards we're talking about (not whether they're douches or morons or racists or whatever other negative qualities you get with large groups of baseball fans), I would love to know how you'd characterize the rest of baseball.

[expletive] awful?

The Rays narrowed their finalists down to Wakamatsu, Cash and.....Ibanez.

So, no Dave Martinez. Does he come here?

Not even a finalist, talk about a slap in the face....

That didn't seem very sarcastic. It seemed like he was giving polite and civil counterpoints. Which makes it the suspension even more confusing.

There are better people to hate than Keith Law, who actually brings something to the table now and then.

Though he probably get booted off twitter for another week thanks to his hot fruit argument with Ken Tremendous.

MLB gave 7,929 drug tests this past year. 2,538 more than were given the year before. The 7,929 number is more than double what was given in 2008, no [expletive] wonder power numbers are down so much.

That's 6-7 tests per 40-man roster spot.

Jason Werth sentenced to 10 days in jail for going 105mph in a 50mph zone. More jail time than Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson combined.
