Man I'd love to see the Chicago media and fanbase's reaction to Castro and Ramirez doing things like that.

Personally, I love it.

Really? Seems pretty stupid.

It is, which is why it's hilarious.

Beltre looks like he's going to punch Andrus in the face. That's awesome.

I'm not much of a gun enthusiast, but I know what a Taurus Judge is... it's a revolver that shoots shotgun shells. And it looks like it came straight out of Eddie Valiant's office...

for reasons i can't even remember, i remember hating eric byrnes as a player, but he was pretty great on the mlb network this afternoon. him and harold reynolds were debating on who should be the reds #2 hitter, and harold kept saying zach cosart (.230/.261/.358) should be the #2 hitter because "he's a middle infielder and middle infielders like to get involved in the game early". byrnes more or less called harold an idiot, and it was wonderful tv. harold also dropped a "your argument makes statistic sense, but not baseball sense" gem to byrnes.

Just a friendly reminder that the Yankees have had $96,125,000 in annual salary on their DL most of the year. And according to their depth chart they are also playing a left fielder named Zoilo over Vernon Wells who has a 77 OPS+ and is getting paid about $11 million from the Yankees to ride the bench and be a backup to everyone.

My landlord's husband has one. He's a huge gun guy, and one day we were talking about home/self defense firearms and he pulled one of those out of his glove box in let me inspect it. Pretty cool, I have to admit.

Chapman just threw a fastball to Freddie Freeman that was clocked at 104 mph on the Braves' broadcast.

In other news, Tim Lincecum just threw what may well go on to be one of the most ignored no hitters ever.

I'm a little bummed the Cubs lost last night, because there would have been a possibility that a 43-50 seller traded a pitcher to a 43-51 buyer in the same league.
