Any of you guys who follow the CPL know anything about Milton Doyle from Marshall? He was committed to FIU (and Isaiah Thomas), but after Thomas was fired, he re-opened his recruitment. KU nabbed him, but I'm not sure if it was just as roster filler.

Honestly never heard of him, sounds like an under-the-radar guy because he didn't play his Junior year or that summer due to injuries.

Ten teams have been ruled ineligible for the 2013 NCAA tournament due to poor classroom performance as evaluated by the APR: Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Cal State Bakersfield, California-Riverside, Jacksonville State, Mississippi Valley State, North Carolina-Wilmington, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Toledo, Towson...and UConn.

We aren't even a finalist for Jabari Parker :banghead: . How far we've come.

nobody gets players like him except top 5 programs. it's kind of weird depaul is on the list, though.

but anyway, this is nothing new. another top player spurns illinois, i've heard this before.

Who are the finalists?

Kentucky, Michigan St., Duke, Kansas, BYU, DePaul, Georgetown, UNC, Stanford, and Florida.

DePaul has a history of getting a nice little hometown "maybe" before being spurned for the big boy schools.

It also has landed a few of them as well. Bobby Simmons, Quentin Richardson, and Mark Aguirre come to mind.

3 players since 1978 is a godawful track record. They might have landed Garnett or Curry if the current rules were in place.

Texas A&M is one of them.

Despite his dad being one of the 2 or 3 best players in our program's history, I never thought we would come close to landing Jabari. It would have been a major accomplishment for us just to get him to take an official visit.
