I remember something similar, sometime after the 2003 post season in a documentry about the Cubs and Red Sox and at one point it showed a similar scenerio in which both the Cubs and Red Sox were able to hang on and meet in the World Series. It must have been before the 2004 WS because it was about the 2 droughts.

Yeah, must have been.

Oh yeah. I was walking my dogs around the park when they were doing this a few weeks back. Kinda hard for me to feel the realism when I know most of it was filmed in 20 degree weather in the dead of winter.

Was this during the day? I can't believe I wouldn't have noticed anything.

Did you time travel back to one of other winters?

In retrospect...yes.

I teared up watching this.

The shots of sluggers and the Aon/BCBS buildings lit up really made it real for me.

Yeah, they nailed a lot of little touches. Little Bartman shout-out, too.

Ill ignore your first sentence, but there was a 3-4 day period in February where all of the lights were on at Wrigley for several hours at night. That's when the commercial was filmed.

At night.

Yeah, I'm on the red line past Wrigley on my way to and from work every day and I figured they were just doing work. I'm pissed I didn't find a way to be in this.
