They need to sign one of the good available OL options, be it guard or tackle.

And I think I prefer Perry to Coples, especially for the Bears needs.

From everything they say, they are OK with the O Line. Think schemes with current group will be alright. With Lovie at Pro Days for both Hill and Wright, it's either an elaborate smokescreen, or we're targeting a WR opposite of Matshall. Which I'm fonr with, just would like another O Lineman to give us options.

Do they think that every person on their line is better than the best FA oline player or has the potential to be? They might be ok with it but you can still get a LOT better. We have the money once again and we don't address our many holes. Thrilled with Marshall but it took the Bears 3 years to finally address it.

All that said, it's a new GM leading the team so I'm not sure it's fair to use Angelo's last couple of years against Emery. I'll give him at least one full offseason until I bash him mercilessly.

I think I'd rather have Wright. Glad he ran good today. I guess it's possible he could go ahead of Floyd. Who is the guy I'd want out of the 3 anyway.

Alex Brown is apparently willing to come out of retirement if the Bears ask him to. Well that's just great.

So the Bears don't want to sign anyone else? Our line play is going to be very average to below average at this point.
Getting Carimi back will be like making a huge FA splash, dude.

Seattle signs Frank Omiyale.

Enjoy!

Poor Tavaris Jackson.

I think Flynn will beat him out. Matty better add some wind sprints to his daily regimen with turnstyle Frank comin' to town.

...yay?

As somebody who didn't want the Bears to sign Forte to a stupid deal, I'm sort of happy about this. But it's a shot across the Forte camp's bow. As a secondary RB he is an upgrade. So that's nice.

Yeah, every team needs 2+ quality backs. I like this move. It further reduces Forte's leverage and running backs just get hurt, so we need the depth.

I think WR will probably be our only 1st or 2nd day pick on the offensive side. As for the Bush signing, I like it. I've been worried about a Forte holdout as it is. Now, we're OK at RB, in case he's not around.

That probably came off far more sarcastic than I meant. I don't follow non-Bears football nearly as closely than I do non-Cubs baseball. More of just being unsure as to if this was a good signing. Judging by the feedback on here, it should be a fun offensive season.

He's been a nice complementary back in his career. Not too much mileage on his legs, but he did slow down this past year when he received more playing time. He's not going to make that much difference to the offense though.
