They won that game thanks to a punt return for a TD and a McGahee TD run on the first play of the drive. Tebow had nothing to do with either TD.

 

 

Oh really? Because I could of sworn it was 17-17 before that thanks to 2 Tebow TD passes.

Didn't expect elcaballo to do another Skip Bayless impression after that awful performance by Tebow, but whatever.

 

It'd be pretty hilarious if Kyle Orton ended the Broncos season next week.

 

You just convinced me that I'd rather have the Raiders win the division and play the Steelers/Ravens than get the wild card and play Houston.

Just messing around the playoff machine and the tiebreakers are crazy.

 

For the AFC West, Denver wins a two-way tie with the Raiders or a three-way tie with the Raiders and Chargers.

 

Cincinnati is in if they win. But if they lose...

 

The Raiders win a four-way tie with the Bengals, Jets and Titans.

The Titans win a three-way tie with the Raiders and Bengals.

The Raiders win a three-way tie with the Jets and Bengals.

The Titans win a three-way tie with the Jets and Bengals.

The Raiders win a two-way tie with the Bengals.

The Bengals win a two-way tie with the Titans.

The Jets win a two-way tie with the Bengals.

 

Plus there are tons of scenarios involving San Diego at 9-7 if they manage to win the next two games also. If they lose today, they're eliminated since 8-8 won't get the wild card and Denver would win a three-way tie.

considering that they're mathematically eliminated, i'd say that they're unlikely to make the playoffs.

 

I said this when it was 20-14 Giants, and the Jets were getting the ball back.

Definitely. I completely forgot about San Diego until the end (probably because any scenario with San Diego going 9-7 includes the Raiders go 8-8 and miss the playoffs) and then I realized they could still get to 9-7 also and I didn't feel like going through them also. If they beat Detroit, I'll probably go through those also.

Man, if only Carolina had hit their stride just a couple weeks earlier. If they hadn't blown a big lead against Atlanta and Olindo Mare could kick a [expletive] field goal, this could've been a playoff team. Hopefully the momentum continues into 2012.

The Raiders had 15 penalties today for 92 yards and now have 155/1294 on the year. The NFL record for penalties and yards is 158/1304. Unless the game against the Chargers gets cancelled for some reason, they'll set both records by a wide margin.

Since day 1 when he was drafted I said Adrian Peterson had 5 years of being elite. Turns out I was wrong, he didn't even last 5 years.

You predicted a NFL running back had a 5 year window of being elite? [expletive] Nostradamus up in this [expletive]!

 

Most HOF running backs are elite for more then 5 years.
