I'm not blaming Thibs at all for this. I don't think that's the right thing to do.

Unbelievable that our season is [expletive] over already.

Agreed.

I even, admittedly, kinda wanted Rose in the game in garbage time so he could work out the kinks and maybe find some rhythm with his shot/floaters/layups/etc. I can't go back in hindsight now and say that I'm angry that he was in the game.

i figured he'd be well-rested for the playoffs after all that time off

only my [expletive] teams. i'm eager to find out what's next. no city has had this amount of injuries from their star players.

the prior thing still hurts like a [expletive]. when wil the collective curse end?

When the Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup

I honestly wouldn't be the least bit surprised by an ECF appearance... the Celtics are still going to get crushed on the boards by this team.

Doesn't count when half of people don't care and half of the other half are only pretending to care.

I'm kind of feeling a 6 game loss to the Heat right now.

i'd be proud of this team if they win 2 series and put up a fight against the heat

I feel terrible for Rose. It's gonna kill him not to be able to work on his game, much less play, for all that time.

You still have line up with 4 starters who are pretty good and a very strong bench. They also still play good defense and can rebound very well too. There is still a strong argument to be made that they are the second best team in the east though it's pretty close between them, Boston and Indiana, I think.

They are still a good team, just, barring a miracle of some kind, not a championship team.

[expletive] Chicago sports... We always get screwed somehow

Seconded I'm sick of this f**king sh*t, cruel or not, I'd like to see Miami get f**ked over a barrel in a similar manner.

Yes, to contrast with the city of Miami's long and illustrious history of sports triumphs.

Between The U, the Dolphins, Marlins, and Heat they've done just fine.

If you are 30 you have seen 6 NBA titles, 1 super bowl, 1 stanley cup, and 1 world series title. At least we aren't St. Louis or anything.

I know; I remember that one promising kid, Mickey Jordan or something, fell in front of a bus just after getting drafted. WHEN?!?!?

You know, I went to one of those world series games, and the Chicago team won on a walk off homer. Left me cold.doesn't count.

I feel like [expletive] but I cant even imagine how Rose feels. His whole life is basketball. When he lost to Miami last year he pretty much locked himself in his house for 2 weeks and wouldnt see anyone. I remember reading something about how Rose was really depressed about all the injuries this year and how friends say he hasnt been himself for awhile now because he cant handle sitting these games out. So what happens now? Basketball is taken away from Rose for the next year. I really really feel bad for him right now.

If this team took Miami to 6 games, it'd be hard not to feel good about that.
