[expletive] Chicago sports... We always get screwed somehow

Seconded I'm sick of this f**king sh*t, cruel or not, I'd like to see Miami get f**ked over a barrel in a similar manner.

Yes, to contrast with the city of Miami's long and illustrious history of sports triumphs.

Between The U, the Dolphins, Marlins, and Heat they've done just fine.

So like Chicago.

Nope, all the championships the city of Chicago has won prior to 2012 do not count.

Rose Injury Update: Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose tore his Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and he's out for the remainder of the season.

Official Bulls PR twitter. It's over.

I've accepted that he is likely done for the playoffs, I'm kind of concerned about an injury affecting his future. This kind of sucks.

As for this year, we could still get to the conference finals and maybe put up a fight in that round but it's not what you want when this team could win a championship healthy.

You also wonder though if this team comes out demoralized with a 76ers team who has to have found confidence with this happening. They could make a series out of this one.

But, God this all sucks though.

Does it really matter? Without Rose, we're not winning a championship. Doesn't matter whether we lose in the first or second round.

I'd like to see them scrap and make the conference finals. I was really, really excited to watch the playoffs as a whole and this has taken the wind out of my sails. Longer the Bulls are in it the longer I'll be interested in the rest of the games.

Are we the team with the best chance to beat Miami? Doubt it.

I'm not one of these guys that thinks Chicago is Buffalo or Cleveland

I knew that; I just was amused how a couple of those posts made it sound like Miami has some kind of amazing, storied tradition of winning that puts Chicago to shame.

It's Boston at this point. But I don't want to lose to Philly and that would've meant Boston would beat us which I cannot abide.

Just let Miami lose to San Antonio or something.

If there is no cartilage damage, he could be back working out in 2-3 months.

No playoffs, Olympics etc. Go Heat opponents!

So bummed. Gonna be a long summer. Even with a good baseball team (zing).

Well [expletive]. What's the recovery time on that like?

he's done for 9-12 months.

Knowing Rose he'll try and bust his ass to get back for the beginning of next season. I hope the Bulls are smart enough not to let him.

I'm still interested in seeing what a Rose-less Bulls will do. Still think they can beat Boston.

There's certainly a chance. I wouldn't make it more than 50/50 though...not sure how the other Bulls fans here feel.

I assume by working out he means like PT?
