They lost to LSU in overtime so yeah, I don't think they actually trailed in that game while the clock was running.

Right, however if Alabama was a little more sloppy, and their defense not as dominant (lets say a score of 13-10), I can see AP voters voting to make OK State their champ. If the majority decide that they aren't title worthy, I agree they will drop to 3rd.
