Well at least Ponder looked really good today. Terrible decision early and got baited into an INT on a CB freelancing in cover-2 on the final drive. In the middle he was pretty awesome for having only 1 real WR and no Adrian against a good defense.

1) That's the game I've been waiting for Cam to play all year. He was spectacular at times up to this point, but this was probably the first time he's really carved up the defense without making any mistakes. Granted it was a terrible Tampa team, but he looked completely in control of the proceedings at all times.

2) At first I was rooting for Tebow to fail to shut up all his zealot fans, but now I kinda want to see how far this magic can go.

Both sides of the Tebow thing are obnoxious enough I'm happy to root against either side.

I'd say there's way more zealot haters than fans

I'm on board with his statement though. I want to see how far it goes.

So you are hoping he has a 75 QB rating and the Broncos win 50% of their games?

Nice job by that Saint. Your teammate sacks Stafford which would have been a fourth and 30-something and you come in and pounce on Stafford late when he's already down and pick up a personal foul.

He should be fined for stupidity.

He wasn't down when he dove for him. The refs want you to assume that the QB is out of play before he is and I'm getting sick of that. Carolina got called for a personal foul against Stafford a couple weeks ago for hitting him while he was in bounds (going towards sideline). It's out of control.

I know you don't care about my fantasy team but if someone could give me advice, i appreciate it. Has anyone lost a game because they sat a MNF player to secure a close win, and then have a stat correction that changes the result of the game?

I have a 1 point lead right now in a game that is for a playoff spot. If I lose, I'm done. If I win I'm in the playoffs. I have Ryan Matthews going tomorrow. I was going to sit Matthews just in case he fumbles and gets injured on his first carry or something. I'm just scared because I've seen Yahoo post a lot of stat corrections this season and with my luck it would be in favor of one of my opponent's guys and give them the win. Should I go through with sitting Mathews or just risk the improbable negative point fluke? I'm not close in any tiebreakers or anything, so total points don't matter, just winning.

i know, i can't believe we're going to lose to a much superior team!

The team's behavior on the field is an embarrassment. Caleb Hanie may have missed a wide open Bennett, Barber may have lined up wrong, but at least they aren't classless tools.

the 2008 team showed a lot of class and sportsmanship, but it...somehow went largely unnoticed

basically, that's a really dumb criticism

Hah, what?

They're idiots. You know it. We all know it. And they lose games because of it. Not that they would have won tonight, but when your best players can't stay on the field because they're morons, it's perfectly valid to point that out.

Who cares what they did in 2008?
