Roddy White, Steve Johnson, and Mike Williams (TB) are plain awful. I was able to land Earl Bennett and Laurent Robinson on the waiver wire. Gonna start those two and sit the others.

Need 1:

Bears D vs SD

49ers D vs Ari

I'm thinking 49ers because they're the best at preventing scoring. How do you have access to either of them though? Both are good enough to start every week.

Now my fun:

Stafford with broken finger vs CAR

Tim Tebow vs NYJ on Thursday night

hey, I have the same issue. I'm going with SF this week, which is what I did last week.

Meh, I'm not worried about preventing scoring as much as I'm worried about sacks, ints, fumbles, defensive tds and return tds. If your league counts return TDs under defense, it would make sense to start the Bears. I'm not sure how they are this year, but last year SD's special teams was the worst in the NFL by far. They were 1st in offense, 1st in defense, and 32nd in special teams. That combined with the fact that Rivers has been an interception throwing machine makes me want to start the Bears D there.

Just looked it up, according to Football Outsiders, SD has the 27th best ST in the NFL this year, coming off a year where they were dead last. Arizona has the 4th best special teams this year. Not that special teams DVOA ratings come solely from kick and punt returns or kick and punt blocking, but it is a big part of it.

All that said, the 49ers and Bears are 1-2 in special teams rankings, so maybe I'm overrated it. I just remember how bad SD's STs were last year and can't go against that.

Reggie Bush or Shonn Greene? Tough one for me

6 Pts Rush TD/4 Pts Rec TD

+3 Pts if over 50 yards

1 Pt every 20 rush yards

1 Pt every 20 rec yards

Vick is my QB, so I'm basically screwed.

Do I go with my backup, Sam Bradford, who has done nothing this year? Or do I pick up someone, with the best available being Matt Moore, John Skelton, Vince Young, and Tyler Palko?

Also, pick 2 of:

Maurice Jones Drew @ Cleveland

Mike Williams- TB @ Green Bay

Percy Harvin vs. Oakland

Earl Bennett vs. San Diego

MJD and Bennett.

I'm pretty sour on Mike Williams. Considering his chances this season and the scope of how he has underperformed, I would only start him if a string of injuries put me in severe desperation. Even if he has a monster week this week (yea right), I can't imagine wanting to start him the week after.

Yeah Williams only being considered because of GBs pass D being last or close to it in the league. What about my QB situation?

I wouldn't let matchups talk you into starting Williams. Desperation only. (Yes, I'm butthurt about drafting him.)

Go Stafford. With Best out, and with the code seeming to be cracked on covering Johnson (ETA - cracked enough to keep him from being the only weapon necessary to win a game), there's not as good of a chance that he puts up big numbers, but at least he won't have to deal with Soldier Field's wind anymore. I'm almost positive that one or two of the remaining options you have will outscore Stafford, but predicting which one is impossible. Without hindsight, I think you have to go Stafford.

I'm getting cold feet about sitting Roddy White.

My opponent is starting Tony Romo and Dez Bryant. Should this have any impact either way on my consideration of starting Laurent Robinson (last 3 games: 13 rec/208yds/4td/44 fantasy pts)? Miles Austin has been ruled out.

Roddy White has only scored less than six points once, but he has also only scored more than 11 points once. How bad of an idea is it to start Earl Bennett (15 and 8 points in 2 games since coming back from injury) over White?

Need 2:

White

Bennett

Robinson

Damn U! I started Bennett. Who put up 10.5. But had Harvin, Mike Williams, and Jerome Simpson on my bench with 20 point games. Also, you answered about Stafford when I said BRADFORD. Took Matt Moore out at the last minute. Give me those 20 points back and I'm only down 16 instead of 36 right now, with McCoy to play.

I don't really blame you

1 flex position:

Starks vs TB

Bennett vs SD

Torrey Smith vs Cin

The correct answer was Torrey Smith. My answer was Starks and Bennett (I had Maclin who was out today, so I tossed in Bennett as well).

Yea, I was full of bad decisions today.

Bears D over 49ers D cost me 9 points. (49ers was clearly the more favorable matchup.)

White over Bennett cost me 7 points. (Seriously? I sat White?)

In my other league, I dropped Gaffney to start Harry Douglas. Cost me 12 points.

I don't blame myself for starting Brandon Marshall over Nate Washington, but that cost me 32 points.

I also had Sidney Rice on the bench, who outscored both guys I started.

If LeSean McCoy + Eli Manning = Steven Gostkowski + 26, then I'm off the hook for those first two decisions.

My bad about being illiterate on your QB situation. I probably would have said coin toss between Moore and Bradford.

EDIT - Oh yea, I also dropped Mike Williams for Julio Jones.

Hard to start a guy who has had one monster game and a few mediocre ones, and who has Joe Flacco throwing passes to him. Without the benefit of hindsight, Bennett was a good call.
