I've come to the conclusion that he's another player in football that simply can't be quantified in numbers.

 

To heck with it, good for him. He just got the job done. Nothing else needs to be said.

 

Dunno about that. At some point he's gonna need to score 25-30 points to win a game and I'm not sure he can do it.

 

I'm not so sure. To me the expectations remain low. He needs to win games like this, get his team into the playoffs at some point in a pretty weak division. After that, it's a different ballgame. For right now, he just needs to do this stuff and see what the team does in response to build a winner around it.

It's going to be interesting to see how Tebow does against the Bears -- still a good amount of speed on that D.

 

About as good as he played against the Lions.

I'm going to hate when Tebow does some stupid [expletive] like that to the Bears. I looked at his stats before the game today and was shocked to see that he has thrown only one INT this season. That said, Lovie Smith still has a job because his defenses seem to do a pretty good job of getting takeaways...

That's because his passes are so bad even the other team doesn't have a chance to intercept them.

Blah blah blah, if he runs a legitimate offense 20% of the time, he's not going very far eventually.

So he can in fact score 25+ points in a game.

 

Good for him, he probably needs to do it more than once every 5 games, with the other 4 being complete offensive duds or this is going to go the other way. That said the defense is decent, if inconsistent. They've allowed less than 25 points in 7 of their 10 games, with the other 3 games being 49 points, 45 points, and 29 points.

Inexcusable to have that kind of field position for an entire game and end up with only 10 points from the offense. The Broncos defense won this game for them.

my goodness that Denver defense is good and needs to be getting a hell of a lot more attention than Tebow.

 

They do need to get more attention than Tebow, but they're only league average at best.

Yeah, but Von Miller is insane.

 

I don't care how good of a career he's going to have. I love Tebow. Glad his team is winning games.

 

I didn't get the hate for him about a year ago, but I don't love him either. I don't know what separates him from any other quarterback, except that he's worse at throwing the ball. We should be heaping praise on John Fox and his coaching staff for effectively designing a game plan that maximizes Tebow's strengths.
