So 8 Mizzou opponents are ranked in the Top 25 of the BCS, what a brutal schedule to go through with a new QB and the injuries they sustained.

guessing k-state's perfect record goes away this week. oklahoma losing probably rescued college gameday from having to go to manhattan, ks.

stanford at usc is a big one - stanford also has a home date with oregon, but this might be their biggest hurdle to going undefeated in conference.

boo hoo. This week will be the first time we've played a team who wasn't coming into the game undefeated. And we're terrible to begin with.

Naw, Stanford will handle us pretty easily. Oregon is in video game mode again with their offense.

If your defense plays as well as it did yesterday it will be close, but I don't see Stanford finding a way to lose that one. Course, after TTech beat Oklahoma, a lot of bets are off.

The funny thing is, read the quotes from Fowler, they wanted to come to Manhattan (biggest Gameday crowd ever was there). Chokelahoma losing at home to a team KSU beat at TT kept that from happening. That being said, either one of 2 things will happen this weekend: Oklahoma will come in and be down without the possibility of playing for a National title and KSU will win, or most likely, OU will be pissed off and will come in and kick our butt. Can't wait to see which way it goes.

That's BS! I wish they were going to Manhattan. Much cooler than having it in LA where they have been 1,000 times and probably will be again sometime. There's a chance K State isn't this good again for another 15 years.

I actually saw the ESPN trucks on I-80 near I-39 and thought they might be on their way to Manhattan from East Lansing, but I guess they could have been on their way to LA. Boo!

Let's be real - they just wanted any excuse to not have to go to Manhattan.

This season sucks.

yep. such a huge difference when your team is good compared to when they are not in terms of how much fun college football is. last season was fun. this season just blows. the sec schedule won't even be this difficult most years.

Believe what you wish and have fun being a back end of the pack team in the SEC.

At least you've heard that's how it works.

The phrase you're looking for is "Kansas State of the SEC".

I'll take it as long as I get to swim through piles of money when going from one side of campus to the other.

Must be better than the Missouri of the Big 12. Hell, you guys can't even make up your minds as to if you want to leave or not. It's pathetic. Just do something already. Must feel shameful to be behind KSU in both Football and Basketball. Dunno what your "Kansas State of the SEC" quote means, but you finished behind us in Football for about 12 years up until 2004 or so, and continue to finish behind us in basketball since Huggins arrival. Must make you feel good to be so dilusional. I'd be jealous too if a 72 year old coach kicked my ass and showed what a scam your football program is. Point is, you can't beat KSU in athletics, even with better talent. Think of where you'll be with Fla, Arkansas, LSU, Bama, Tennessee etc. Have fun trying to recruit Texas too should you guys leave. I hope you do. WVA adds more than Mizzou ever did. Same WT towns, better athletic programs... bye bye.

Have you really looked thru the numbers? You think you'll get much more than a couple million more a year if you look at it the right way? Oh, and travel expenses, they'll eat up the crap extra money you'll be promised every year. Mizzou fans are so dilusional.

lol, "you can't beat KSU in athletics, except for these carefully omitted portions where you did"

maybe if your first, second, and third team players all get debilitating food poisoning. You'll run circles around us, just like everyone else.
