You can vote for how you feel players performed on the year, grading scale A-F.

I'm pretty sure every idiot Cubs fan found this poll because:

1. An overwhelming majority think that Koyie Hill's performance was worthy of a C (49%)

2. 92% think that Barney was an A or a B.

3. 71% think that Garza was a C or D.

4. The majority of people (47%) thought that Byrd was a B. Byrd sucked.

Kind of fun to consider...except that Ortiz is on twice. Garza is the only A I gave on the pitching side, and as much as I hate to, I have ARam as an A as well.

I gave Bs to Marshall, Samardzija, Russell, Campana, Johnson, Pena, Barney, LaHair, Wood and Castro. Most controversial here might be Russell, but he was lights out at what he should be -- a LOOGY type. For me, you have to consider what the player's role is -- hence Campana and Johnson getting Bs as bench players. Castro a B because of his defense and relative lack of on base skills, Barney and Samardzija Bs partly because they exceeded my expectations.

Cs--- Soto, Dempster, Baker, LeMahieu, Sori, Ortiz, Byrd, Fukudome, Montanez, Zambrano, Marmol, Carpenter, Lopez, Mateo, Cashner, and....Quade, who I don't think did such a terrible job but will have to take the fall.

Ds-- Wells, Coleman, Grabow, DeWitt, Hill

Fs-- Colvin

Looking at my grades you'd have about a C- team. I think that's about right, even though the record was more like a D+.

At the time I did the survey, 34 (4%) thought Coleman deserved a B and 18 (2%) thought Hill deserved an A.

Fellow Cub fans, I am disappoint.

D's - Dempster, Zambrano, Lopez, Barney, Campana, LeMahieu

F's - Hill, Grabow, Coleman, Ortiz

Levine wrote that Koyie is solid in the field (simply not true), and Soto struggled from a low BA. Koyie was a B. Soto was a C-.

I'm as concerned as anyone with the large drop in LD% for Soto this year. But he wasn't awful, and he has done this before. don't see why a return to 2010/08 numbers is out of the question.

Levine is a total hack and baseball fans, by and large, are complete morons. What else is new?

Our fans want the starting OF to be Campana-Johnson-LaHair

Let me guess: Baker, LeMahieu, Barney, and Dewitt across the infield with Hill at C.

That team would be guaranteed 1st... in the Fecal League standings. At least they'd get the first pick in the draft.

Who on earth would call Garza a C or D? Stupid Cubs fans.

He was only .500 on the year.

Your kidding, right?

I'm pretty sure he is. He's giving the reasoning why the average meathead Cubs fan would only give Garza a C or D on the year.

Why would you hate to rate the Cubs best player for the past decade with an A in a season in which he played really well?

I haven't looked at the numbers closely, but for me I think his defense was bad enough to take him down to 88-90 grade range, so a high B+ or low A.

Yes, I'm kidding.

jesus. If Koyie was solid I guess Geo will be winning a unanimous gold glove.

I don't like Bruce Levine.

I'm still baffled why he assumed Aramis' option didn't vest if he was traded and continually spewed out that false nonsense convincing people it was true.

HOLY JESUS I had no idea Marshall had as good a season as he did. Me likey.

Since last season Marshall has turned into one of the premier setup/middle relief guys in the entire game. He's worth keeping around, and I'm glad he found his niche while still a member of this team.

He went on to rip Geo's D

why? because he had a lot of errors? Geo is a better catcher in every aspect.

Because he's better on offense
