Is it too early to say that Wisconsin will be in the National Championship Game?

Do they play the juggernaut that is Illinois this season?

Until 3 of OU, Okie Lite, Bama, and LSU lose, then yes its too early to say that.

Well, two of them will lose for sure.

Yeah, the problem for Wisconsin is that their schedule is likely going to be the weakest of all the national championship contenders. They had a very poor non-conference schedule, the Big 10 is not great this year, and missing both Michigan and Iowa will hurt them as well. It's quite possible that some 1 loss teams will end up being ahead of them in the computers.

Wisconsin would get that extra game against Nebraska /MSU/Michigan in the B1G championship game, but they still probably sit behind Oklahoma and the SEC winner. :D

wisconsin sports are still boring as [expletive]

I will give you the basketball team. I can see that. But how so with the Packers, Brewers and Badger football team?

The football team was boring until Wilson showed up. They're one of the more exciting teams to watch now.

I always wondered why they could never seem to land a playmaking quarterback.

it's not so boring on the field, that's not what i'm talking about.

in illinois (as well as any other place i've lived), people like all sorts of different teams from all sorts of different places, wisconsin is so dreadfully provincial. the fans themselves make it boring more than any other factor. none of them know anything about sports and would be hard-pressed to actually talk big ten football for more than a minute or two, exhausting their vast library of knowledge fairly quickly, but they know they love dose bay-jers.

and there's no real variety among people who CAN hold a sports conversation for more than a few moments. boring.

Stephen Garcia made the AU defense look much better this game. The young DL did have a decent pass rush for the first time this season, and they'll need to do the same next week against Arkansas.

AU is slowly working in Kiehl Frazier at QB, 12 or so snaps this game. Hope that trend continues.

That must be why Stanford still had Luck throwing from inside their 10 up almost 20 with 2 minutes to go.

You can take Harbaugh out of your college, but the [expletive] remains.

My god, PSU is going to lose by 70 to this Wiscy team

yeah because psu has just been giving up truckloads of points this year.

I don't think it will matter.

Let them have their fun (and let them run up the score in hopes that it helps gets Neuheisel out of here). Stanford is going to fall back a bit when Luck is gone; they recruit well but they already are showing some signs of slipping this season and aren't as dominant as last year.
