Ohio State is terrible. No offense whatsoever, and couldn't do anything against a pretty crappy Miami team.

Luke Fickell just gave up on his team. OSU has 3 timeouts with over a minute left and only down 11. Fickell decided not to use a single one. Interesting decision.

I was at the Cubs game today instead of home watching this one (watching it now on ESPN3). It sucks to have missed it but still pretty cool to see Iowa comeback from 21 down. I didn't think they had it in them.

i guess western illinois isn't very good? mizzou beat them 69-0 and outgained them 750 to 40.

 

Henry Josey had 14 carries for 263 yards and 3 TDs. He didn't play in the second half. I guess if you're only going to have one gimme game on the schedule, go all out with it.

It looks like it could very well be between Illinois and Wisconsin for the division. Wisconsin has looked great against bad competition and Illinois has a pretty good win (they also looked good against bad competition.)

yeah he was dumb as a rock but at least he had good arm strength.

 

at least it's not as bad as matt senneca. that guy was the worst qb i've ever seen at psu... actually he was one of the worst qb's i've seen in the big ten.

So we've found the antidote for ND's turnover problems - just force as many turnovers as you surrender and we'll be fine.

 

Most impressive ND win since 2006 Penn State - that's not saying much, though.

 

Also, there's this guy, who happens to be a true freshman, named Aaron Lynch who had more QB hurries today than anyone on ND had for the entire 2010 season - against the best O-line ND is likely to face in 2011. So he's probably going to be ok.

After Stanford/Arizona, looks like Oklahoma State/Tulsa is the only game still on. Its 676 on DirecTV, 366 on Dish, or FoxSouthwest. Quite a few fans still there, wonder how the turnout will be 2-330 AM, though.

boy arizona's opening schedule is pretty brutal... after the week 1 layup against northern arizona they go @oklahoma st, stanford, oregon, @usc. normally i'd include @oregon st at the end of that, but it seems they suck this year.
