Julius Peppers is such a game changer. I hope Melton can keep it up in the regular season. If so the Bears line will be really really good.

Despite giving up points, that was a decent drive by the Bears. They forced I think 4 third downs. They stopped them on 2 of them, and one of the ones they didnt stop them, they probably would of without a blatant hold.

 

The Dline is getting into the backfield, the secondary is active, the linebackers are covering a lot of ground. Good stuff.

I was going to complain that Johnny Knox should learn what a touchback is, but then I realized it is the preseason and its stupid not to attempt the returns.

 

I loathe this dumb new rule. Why make a rule that makes the game less exciting? What is wrong with having Special teams as part of the formula for winning games?

Great play but Cutler. He does actually look different. On that bomb to Hester, he looked like he was going to wing one of his back foot but too a spilt second to adjust himself and threw a beauty with perfect footwork.

Probably because its preseason and it's ultimately not that big of a deal.
