Bears preseason week 2; Monday August 22nd at the Giants

Johnny Knox caught 11 of 26 passes thrown his way that travelled more than 20 yards in the air. He gained 424 yards on those plays but seven of the 15 incompletions were interceptions.

 

Wow, now finally we can put that into some perspective. Knox had 26 passes of over 20 yards thrown his way last year. 11 were receptions, 8 were incomplete, and 7 were interceptions. Wow.

I heard on one of the sports talk stations that if the line struggles tonight Tice and Martz will be considering looking outside the organization for help. Apparently, they were privately really frustrated with the performance despite the limited practice time and offseason reshuffling.
