I really hope this is Colvin's last chance

Man, if he's starting anywhere in the OF opening day for the Cubs next year I just may cry.

Now that is something we agree on :D

It's funny that I was much more apathetic towards this team in May, where there were still hints of hope, than I am now where I actually find myself watching games here and there despite how pathetically awful they are.

I blame the Bulls for not winning the title. When the Hawks won it last year, the resulting euphoria kept me content with sports until September.

I am the same way. Good thing NFL training camps are opening.

So is John Axford really that good, or do the Cubs just make him look that way?

He's good. He has something like 28 consecutive saves now (which is a franchise record). He's shutdown alot of good teams.

In the 3rd inning as ARAM grounded into a DP, Pat Hughes said on the WGN Radio broadcast: "Aramis Rameriz running not as hard as he can...". Hm-m-m-m.

Your veiled racism is getting old and stupid. You offer nothing of value to this board.

Your posts are all awful.

im pretty [expletive] tired of randy wells sucking diesel in the first inning of every game

Yep. He always says the right things after the game so his continued sucking gets overlooked.

Explain.

And please confirm that you apparently think McGehee is good. This is two games now where you've talked about him that way, going so far as to call him "Casey Ruth."

It's obviously the .603 SLG McGehee has posted this year.

Oh wait, that's his OPS.

he'd probably run faster if he didn't have all that brown weighing him down.
