Glad to hear about Jackson's return. More good news, Ha walked.

Walked in the second game, too. he's now walked in each of the last three games, and in four of his last five.

Anyone know why Whitenack was pulled after 2.2 with 41pitches and a 5-0 lead? [expletive].

According to Chicagocubsonline via twitter he bent over after a pitch and he left the game after that. :x He called for the coaches.

According to Chicagocubsonline via twitter he doubled over in pain after a pitch and he left the game after that. :x

Any chance it was food poisoning :bye:

I hope so, I guess? Our pitchers seem to be as brittle as they come. I hope he's allright, because he's really emerged this year as a true prospect.

Luis Flores has hit another homer tonight. This, of course, makes total sense, because he hit 7 in 477 at bats in his minor league career until this season, where he's hit 6 in 37.

Yeah, that sucks. But I'll take bending over instead of clutching the elbow/shoulder on the very preliminary indication spectrum.

That brought an audible chuckle.

Whatever it is, I say we find out quickly so we can give it to the big league club.

From a different board: "Whitenack looked to be in some serious pain around the elbow area when he left tonights game, Cabrera is on his way to Iowa as we speak...."

Junior Lake had a homer, a triple and 5 RBI's tonight anyway.

The kid may walk about as much as Stephen Hawking, but as long as he keeps slugging .500, Ill accept it.
