Tiger withdrew from the PGA Championship after nine holes. He shot a 42 on the front nine.

"I'm having a hard time walking," he said.

Woods shot a 42 on the front nine of the TPC Sawgrass, including a triple bogey on the fourth hole when he didn't clear a water hazard 30 yards in front of him. He constantly walked some 20 yards behind his playing partner, holding his golf club for support, limping noticeably after each hole.

After taking a bogey on the par-5 ninth, he handed his scorecard to PGA champion Martin Kaymer, then walked back to inform Matt Kuchar that he was leaving early from The Players for the second straight year.

Just noting this was TPC (The Players Championship), not the PGA Championship.

I knew that...not sure why I typed it that way....

What a dumb comparison.

What comparison? I just named 3 athletes I am sick of hearing about. I never said anything about their situations being in any way similar.

Meh, even that, chalk me up with ssr. Seems odd to be complaining about Shaq getting too much media attention, especially compared to those two.

Maybe he really is injured. Although it seems like a convenient excuse, considering this is the same guy who won the US open with torn knee ligaments and a broken leg.

I still think he's coming back to win majors. If he ever gets hit putter back.

Of course he's injured. It's not like this was just some creation because he sucked on the front 9 today. People didn't think he was playing this weekend until last Friday.

It was less than 2 years ago that he was the dominant but it feels like it's been so long. He was the clear best player in the world in every category. [expletive] you Elin.

Yeah, I know he's injured. But a 42 has still got to hurt. He won the US open on 1 leg.

I'm also one of the few who would love to see the old Tiger again. The F you Elin comment is pretty funny.

This.

People are always talking about how he's finished blah blah blah, yet he has 3 top 5's, a top 25 and a 28th place finish in his last 5 majors since the incident.

If she would have stayed in the kitchen preparing Thanksgiving leftovers everything would be good.
