and now a run thanks to the scraptastic trio of punto, delsclaso or whoever he is, and theriot, probably three of the least talented players in baseball history. awesome.

Yep. They score on a ground ball back to the mound that Garza can't field because he falls off the mound after his delivery. This team sure if fun to watch.

Has there been an announcement about what time they might start playing?

Never mind...they are playing.

For the Cardinals? That was another one that bounced off the track over the basket.

Nice to finally see a hitter split a gap with the bases loaded. Hopefully Garza will be able to pitch effectively after the long delay.

Cubs may score all their runs for the week with Franklin in now. It's really annoying having to listen to the Cards announcers even though the game is on ESPN. Hrabosky keeps talking about the cards hitters getting under Garza's skin for no apparent reason.

1. I absolutely hate listening to the STL announcers.

2. Can we stop running into outs already. The majority (literally, majority) of the hitters are reaching base tonight. Stop running into outs!

3. Did I mention the Cards announcers suck? I can't even finish a post without them finding something else about the Cubs to complain about.

11 of 16 hitters reached base via a hit or walk by the Cubs. 4 of those 5 plate appearances that did not lead to a hit or walk were in AB by Hill and Garza.

That can't possibly be true. We haven't run into 7 outs.
