Friday's game obviously didn't go too well so it can't get much worse. The Cubs haven't won more than two straight this year but haven't lost more than two straight either. Hopefully they can turn things around and get the W.

GO CUBS!

Casey Coleman as a starter in the majors:

W	L	ERA	GS	IP	H	R	ER	HR	BB	IBB	SO	WHIP	SO/9	SO/BB
4	2	3.69	9	53.2	55	23	22	5	21	2	24	1.416	4.0	1.14

Yeah, he's not likely to continue doing this well, but to pretend that he's been a failure based on one start is idiotic. As a spot/5th starter, a team could do a lot worse...like James Russell or Jeff S.

Well your numbers are made up, so I guess there is no point arguing, but kid yourself all you want. He sucked in the minors and he is going to suck in the majors. The only thing he has going for him is that his family was talented at baseball. Too bad it didn't pass on to him.

If those were his real numbers maybe he did well, but their not, so quit perpetrating a fraud.

Dick? If you want to pretend him starting in the majors is different from him pitching in the majors or pitching in the minors you win. But if you want to talk him pitching in the majors and minors he has pretty much sucked.

Sounds like someone has a very strange grudge

Damn CBSsports and making up their stats just cause Coleman had a talented family.

Aww do the real stats hurt your feelings? You seem to take it personal?

If your happy with a 4.11 era and 1.42 whip in 2010 and 7.20 era and 18.20 whip in 2011 great, but most people aren't.

You dont think accusing someone of making up stats is being a dick? And Im not pretending a damn thing, Im commenting on you accusing others of making [expletive] up when you were the one making [expletive] up. The numbers given are his numbers as a starter in the majors no matter what you say.

you're probably looking at his overall stats. his statistics as a starter in the major league are exactly what was posted earlier in this thread. i'd dispense with this line of belligerent arrogance before you make an even bigger fool of yourself.

Learn to read please. If you want to cherry pick his numbers fine, but his overall numbers are not good.

learn to read, says the guy who accused other posters of making up numbers that were clearly identified as his numbers as a starter in the major league.

this is entering cubbiebum territory of self-humiliation.
