Did Pat say Castro has 4 hits tonight?

 

Cripes, all that kid does is hit!! He is gonna be the franchise in a few years.

 

have you seen the cubs' roster right now? i think he already is the franchise.

Yep, 4-4 on the day and a triple short of the cycle. Hitting .403 on the year with a .986 OPS now.

have you seen the cubs' roster right now? i think he already is the franchise.

The only real options are him ans Aramis. Of course once Prince Fielder or Albert Pujols come to town, that could change.

i know pena has faced a lot of lefties and it's still early, but he's done nothing to dissuade me that he can no longer be a productive major league first baseman.

 

A) Hopefully he's only a 1-year option until we land Pujols or Fielder

 

B) I heard he has a hole in his swing from some of the analysis I've read--- if that's the case how come he has not fixed it?

Eh, it's still really early. Even with the ugly OPS last year and the year before he still beat the hell out of the ball.
