Pretty nervous about Wood pitching in this game.

If he can get past Lee, he should be good.

I just wish Quade would look at Marshall as the setup guy.

He's a [expletive] idiot

To be fair, I think most managers would be that way, sadly. Most of them are going to want/expect their setup guy to have a blow-it-by-them pitch.

He was a mighty fine set up guy last year after theyd tried Grabow, Caridad, and Samadjiza. Speaking of set up guys, is Angel Guzman anywhere near a return, because hed give us one hell of a pen.

Thank you, Woody.

The bottom of the order will be up for Marmol in the ninth so there's no need for Bourn to bat again.

Until the next stiff breeze, which would land him on the DL again.

I think Guzman is to the point where he can no longer be depended on as an option.

im calling Z's first HR of the year today.

a no doubter.

Score! Was it a no doubter? I didn't catch the first six innings of the game.

Yup. It was gone as soon as he hit it.

Isn't that exactly how he's being viewed?

They're not depending on him for anything. Anything he can bring will be a bonus, and they'd be foolish not to try.

Insurance run!

Nice job, Barney.

Lance Berkman HRs: 4

Sam Fuld HRs: 1

Carlos Pena HRs: 0

In fairness to Pena, there are little league fields that Fuld's HR wouldn't have got out of.

And Pena's mostly faced lefties so far this year due to the minor injury. He'll be mashing soon enough.

I know this is late, but Castro is a beast. 3 hits today, at least 2 nice plays in the field (i'm specifically referencing the ones to end the Astros 7th inning).... that kid is gonna be special.

He had a really nice one earlier, too, where he got a force out at 2nd by snagging a ball heading into LF and then firing to 2B as he was running away from it.

I tuned in late, didn't see the whole game.

He does have some work to do in the field with his decision making, but he's already got the groundwork there to be astoundingly good defensively.
