Dekker is a 5 star guy they will get next year. But overall they are a bunch of 3 star guys with a couple 4's sprinkled in there.

scout's got him at a 4

ah, I was going off of Rivals. Honestly have no idea which one is better.

scout for basketball, rivals for football.

Thanks.

At least the B1G won the challenge.

Odd that each of the last 3 games ended up being the only real tossups.

EDIT: Of the 10 ESPN expert predictions, John Gasaway did the best, predicting 11 of 12 correctly, missing only on Nebraska.

Jordan Taylor shot 30% from the floor and 50% from the FT line and Wisconsin only lost by 3. Probably because the Sconnies' had only FOUR turnovers on the road at UNC. That's sick.

Our ball chucking offense didn't allow us to get inside and draw fouls. I know they had Zeller and Hanson down there, but fouls were 21-12 and FTA 24-6 in favor of UNC.

We won't get any helps from the refs by just standing at the arc. I know we were purposefully slowing down the game and only really having 1 or 2 guys offensive rebound to allow 3 to get back, but in our best stretch (early in the 2nd) we had Berggren slashing, Evans offering up some post moves, and Brust with a mid-range jumper or two.

Oh well. Good game overall. Probably helped people's view of Wisconsin in the big picture. Great learning experience for our young team to play that tight of a game in that environment. And heck, at least we did better @ UNC than Duke did @ OSU.

As for the age old Wisconsin doesn't have talent debate: It's the same as football. There's a reason the guys who run the recruiting websites are the ones handing out stars, instead of coaching or playing themselves. I'll trust Bo to decide who he thinks has talent and can coach that person to be a better player to make his team better, no matter the stars.

but major league choke-job at the line down the stretch and they're about to lose. unbelievable

Super frustrating, but encouraging that DePaul has already beaten 2 major conference programs and lost to 2 others by a combined 3 points. They'll still suck overall, particularly now that they have 9 healthy scholarship players and will be worn down by the end of the year, but the progress is being made. They should make the postseason next year and go from there. Purnell is going to be fine.

North Carolina looks like the least coordinated group of super athletic people I've ever seen.

good one

The sun times ran a story about how he was bought. They had three other college coaches as sources. His family threatened a law suit, Kentucky told them to shut up. Still waiting on that law suit. But, yeah you're prolly right, his recruitment was on the up and up.

Keep carryin' that water for the NCAA. The more Joe Fan complains about micro issues like Kentucky the easier it is for them to get away with their fraudulent cartel.

Two previous stops and Cal cheated like hell, now he's at the biggest dirty school. You bury your head in the sand if you want.

Purdue in for a tough one today. I don't think they'll win on the road at Xavier, but hopefully they'll play tough. If they win this one, they will be ranked next week.

Cheating according to the NCAA principles of sham amateurism, yes.

Doing stuff that would get most schools blasted back to the stone age, yes.

Yes, by the NCAA. That's my whole point.

The NCAA sets up its plantation system and then rakes money in hand over fist and then programs the yokels to complain about John Calipari while they hide behind phony platitudes like the "student-athlete" and "amateurism." It's a beautiful scheme, really.
