Illinois fans are nothing if not consistent. Every off season is full of hope with all these future stars and prospects, and every season is a bitch fest about how none of them pan out

Ah if only we could produce the type of talent that Penn St. was bringing in.

It makes sense because Leonard didn't play in it. As such he wouldn't be ranked as high as Woodbury.

No it doesn't, because Woodbury didn't play in it either. He lives 5 hours away.

I'm assuming he will be now. Either way congrats on the great pick up.

I don't spend every off season pretending that my team is just one good recruiting class away from a title. In fact, I don't follow PSU recruiting at all.

lol - where were you during the years we were bitching about not getting any decent recruits?

I remember the Eric Gordon year very well :)

Who?

Perry Ellis to KU. If we'd have missed on him, I'd have lost a lot of hope.

Please get Kaleb Tarwhateverski now.

Yeah if Cal got him, it might have been panic time.

#1 2012 recruit Shabazz Muhammed and #1 2013 recruit Jabari Parker will be in College Station this weekend for official visits. I realize that they are both longshots (Parker's dad starred at A&M and his HS teammate Kendrick Nunn has already committed to the Aggies), but just the fact that they are taking officials to A&M is a big deal for our program. Get one or both of them and it would HUGE.

Surely playing in the premiere college basketball conference will be a draw.

Lol at having to tell us it would be huge to get the top recruit in the nation two years in a row. Please explain why, lol.

I think it's because both are good at basketball. But I'll wait for further elucidation.
