Apologies if this was covered, but does anyone know why Gameday doesn't load up in Chrome?

I dont have a problem with it loading up.

The fact I have to choose between seeing the box score, the field, and the play by play bothers the bejeezus out of me. But it loads.

You can click on "Classic" at the top and it will go to last year's version.

Pessimism:

- If late inning clutch from Soriano and DeWitt is what it takes to get a W, this could be a long season

- I don't see Ramirez having the bounce back season this team needs him to have

- I wouldn't be surprised to see Pena struggle with the Mendoza line all season.

Optimism:

- Starlin Castro. Holy f I'm pumped to see how his season goes

- I think Zambrano is going to have a good season.

- This bullpen will be for real. Marmol's K on Doumit was ridiculous.

Even if that works all year, it wont next.

But thanks for the heads up. I didn't realize it was an option.

I'll add a few positives - Soto looking good, Pena playing excellent defense and Quade making sense.

Pena will catch on. Getting him out of the AL East may just save his career.

I'm not worried about Aramis yet. He had a decent day yesterday.

Look at it this way - if we can win on the shoulders of Sori and DeWitt, think where we'll be when Byrd and Pena wake up.

It goes back to 2010. The offense as a whole was decent enough, Castro, Soto, Fukudome, Byrd, and Soriano all had solid seasons, but the problem was the lack of production at the heart of the lineup. This season, we will need some production from the 3-4 spots, whoever they may be in the long run.

Not working in Chrome or FF on this computer.

I had to add mlb.com to my whitelist in adblock. Don't know if that might be your problem too.

That'll just about do it, I think.

The season didn't officially start until erik prematurely (pause) called BALLGAME

Sigh. Not the same without Ronnie.

It is missing something without an AWRIIIIIIIGHT in the background, isn't it?

Yup, I was wrong, but once again I was saying what a lot of others were thinking. I'm man enough to admit I was wrong, and am I ever glad I was. Nothing like a come-from-behind win. The first time after a long winter just starts making you feel all warm again. And I'm glad that I was able to give imb the highlight of his life by pointing out that I was wrong on the internet. Now when he goes to bed with his footy jammies and teddy bear tonight, he won't have those scary dreams about the monsters again.

I will say though that if they're as impatient at the plate all year as they were today against Maholm, it's going to be a very long year. That can't continue.

Oh, and just for the record, when I call "ballgame", it's over.

I never said the word "ballgame" though. So there.

Yes, I thought it was over, but I never said the word "ballgame."

But still, I was wrong. Admit it, you have a boner from that now, don't you? It's ok. That kind of thing isn't as frowned upon now as it once was. I don't judge you.

And I love how you don't deny anything I said, either. Your silence is deafening.

I still think they were told to attack Maholm early in the count today, at least in their first ABs. And it worked because they were smoking the ball...just at the Pirates. They worked the count fairly well on Opening Day.
