Ike Davis got hurt tonight? Son of a bitch.

 

Ike Davis (calf) was walking around in a protective boot following Tuesday's win over the Rockies.

Davis left Tuesday's game against the Rockies after straining his left calf in a collision with David Wright. He will be reevaluated on Wednesday morning, but a stint on the disabled list is a strong possibility. Daniel Murphy will likely get most of the playing time at first base while he's sidelined.

Heyward isn't expected to go on the DL. Rotoworld says he'll be back in the lineup this weekend

 

Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez isn't too concerned about Jason Heyward (shoulder) and hopes to have him back in the lineup by this weekend.

 

Heyward left Tuesday's game with soreness in his right shoulder. He admitted that he's dealt with the issue since spring training and that it's kept him from having a consistently good swing this season. It's encouraging that Gonzalez isn't worried, but we'll know more after Thursday's MRI.
