Did Carlos Zambrano actually complete an inning with only 7 pitches? Along with not throwng one ball?

first pitch was a ball according to pat

Game Day has him with 7 pitches, none of which were a ball.

In past seasons the spring training gameday feed didn't count each individual pitch, but rather tallied only strikes contributing to a K and balls in play. As Z's first inning line was 2 K and a groundout, I assume this is still the case.

only the Cubs!

baseball players should not be allowed to have names that start with a "C". I spent almost a full minute trying to figure out why Pena was playing catcher.

I like Marcos Mateo, I hope there is a way for him to make the opening day roster. I think he could eventually turn into a good set-up man, but for the time being I think he is a solid option for the 6-7th innings and mop up duties.

How was Moreland's performance on WGN?

Pretty good. Seemed real eager to make a good impression. It was nice having someone being able to at least attempt some kind of analysis.

33-129!!!
Nah, they're getting all the suckiness out of their system during the preseason. 140-22.

Then they get swept by an 82-80 team in the NLDS.

i listened to the first three innings of the game. nothing more than your typical old school baseball analysis. it also sounded to me like he was trying to explain things to people who have never watched or listened to a game. lots of sac bunting talk. steals, etc.
