The first quote left me with a slight feeling of sympathy for Dusty. The second quote came along and set that feeling on fire. Makes me really excited for the Reds to plexi-glass back down to 3rd or 4th place this year.

Felt the same way there for a couple of seconds. He was a great manager as long as that talent he had stayed together or were not injured.

no he was not a great manager and he was responsible for injuring some of his pitchers.

I am agreeing with the fact he was lousy, what I was saying was that he thought he was great but it was due to the talent around him and not his ability to manage

From a Marine in Da Nang: "[Dusty Baker] sucks the sweat off of a dead man's balls." I have no idea what that means, sir, but it seems very negative to me.

It's nothing personal. We just like everybody else better than we like Dusty.

It's probably just because of all the polka he blared out of Sammy's boombox.

haha somebody took a dump in dusty's spot. that's disgustingly awesome.

i also loved that he was able to say with 100% certainty that he can distinguish the difference between dog [expletive] and human [expletive]

The way I read the quote, it sounded to me like someone pooped in his spot everyday.

I will give Dusty some credit. I was rather impressed to learn that he can tell the difference between human and dog feces.

That would make him a scatologist, so he has a carer beyond baseball

I'm a little disappointed that nobody has made the joke that he WAS the poop in his spot in the dugout.

That's because it's not a joke, but rather a well known fact.

It's funny how nobody even remembers how much they hated Don Baylor. That's quite an accomplishment because at the time everybody really hated Don Baylor (with good reason).

The Reds should give back about 20 of those wins this year. Reds finish no better than 4th this year.

A lot of fans were ready to run him out of SF following the "game ball" incident with Russ Ortiz. He acts like he was a god there.

It's not all about him. He does not know how to manage an MLB club and he has a complex such that he always has to defend himself. Instead of defending himself, he should just shut up and go manage and see if the record can speak for itself.
