Jared Allen isn't the best defensive end in the NFL.

He's on the short list and you really can't argue that.

That, in your opinion, he's on the short list? You are correct, it's pointless to try to argue with you.

Come on. He's not having a good year but he clearly has been one of the handful of elite DE's in the league over the last 5 years.

Well that's true. I'm just saying he's been bad, especially for his standards, this season.

Have you seen him play this season? He's been pretty [expletive] bad.

He hasn't been good up until this point, but let's see where he is at the end of the season. Rating players on a week to week basis is pointless. He has been spectacular the last three seasons in that all important sack category if that means anything anymore.

The Lions continue to find new and creative ways to lose games. Today, it was a missed extra point by Ndamakong Suh.

That's getting towards Dillon being unable to play for a game because of "uniform constriction"

Austin Collie just got nailed while going over the middle. Looked like he got knocked out before he hit the ground.

Colts just had one of their receivers killed on a catch. He was unconscious before his head slammed onto the ground. At least he's moving his legs.

That's just what the Colts need - another injury to their receivers.

the medical team was scrambling soon after he went down...hope he's ok.

Philly fans were quick to defend their reputation as awful people after that play.

That was pathetic.

I didn't think either Philly defender made an illegal tacke warranting an unnecessary roughness call either, but yeah...that was probably poor form on their behalf considering the guy was still motionless on the turf.

Collie was knocked out on a play over the middle. The refs called a personal foul on a defenseless receiver. The Indy medical staff came rushing out and it was clear Collie was seriously injured. The replay of the hit(s) came on the video board and the Philly fans roundly booed the call by the refs as Collie was being tended to. But they did cheer for the guy as he was being wheeled off.

What do the Colts do? They try the same play on the very next snap for a 33 yard gain.

Well, yes, they were, at that point, booing the game and not the man, but you still don't do it while he's being loaded into the ambulance.
